Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has been named as UEFA Champions League player of the week after his superb performance for his club.
The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star scored three goals for Juventus to beat visiting Atletico Madrid in the Champions League round of 16 clash.
Juventus had lost the first encounter in Spain before Ronaldo led the Old Lady to an incredible come back in Turin.
UEFA however took to their social media page to announce the name of Ronaldo as the player of the week.
Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo and his Juventus' teammates will face Ajax in the round of 16 of the 2018/19 Champions League encounter.
Ronaldo won the Champions League trophy with Real Madrid last season and he joined Juventus before the start of this term.
